Hurricane Ida of 2021 damaged many properties in the Philadelphia Area. DCH Contractors was called upon to mitigate and restore the One Riverside building. Work began immediately with the pumping of the flood waters from the lobby and parking garage level. Disinfecting treatments of all surfaces and environmental consultations proceeded before the re-construction could begin. Work included the reconstruction of the lobby subsurfaces and finishes, repairs to the elevator mechanical systems and cab interior finishes, complete reconstruction of the garage level electrical infrastructure, car parking lifts, valet office, resident parking lobby and carport, and all sublevel mechanical rooms.
