DCH Contractors was founded in 2003 by David C. Horlacher as a family operated carpentry contracting company. Over the years, the company has evolved to a construction management and general construction firm servicing homeowners, business owners, property management organizations and real estate developers with all aspects of building construction.
DCH Contractors focuses on urban general construction and the construction management of special projects throughout the City of Philadelphia. We specialize in high-rise residential building interiors and custom boutique construction projects.
It is our goal to work carefully with every client and provide confidence and professionalism for every construction project.
DCH Contractors has been proud to serve the City of Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia Area for the past 20 years.

David C Horlacher- Owner
David grew up in the construction industry working with his father remodeling homes in Bucks County. David took his talents as a carpenter to Philadelphia, spending twenty years perfecting his craft, graduating to general superintendent for Intech Construction working on large scale and significant projects in the city. Going back to his roots, David started DCH Contractors to become more involved with both home and business owners with a mission to deliver quality and expertly crafted projects. David takes great care to understand a client’s needs and he takes great pride in knowing that his work will be appreciated for generations to come. He is never one to shy away from a project, giving David the reputation of a builder who gets things done.
Timothy D Horlacher- Construction Project Manager
Timothy started working for DCH Contractors at the age of 13 alongside David and the many talented trades commissioned for each project. Timothy bridges the modern era of construction with his knowledge of proven building practices with a forward vision of modern techniques. These days, he helps lead DCH Contractors with business development, project estimating, and overall field operations.
Amanda L Horlacher- Design Project Manager
Amanda is involved with each projects’ design, ordering materials, and organizing the schedules that keep our projects running smoothly. Amanda keeps the company looking forward to new design trends and the new materials that are offered in our ever-changing design conscious building environment.
